“Kites for Kids Day”
Free Event at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Vista Del Valle Park
The El Paso Employees Federal Credit Union will host a “Kites for Kids Day” from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Vista Del Valle Park, 1288 Hawkins Blvd. (off Gazelle St.).
The first 100 children will receive a gift bag complete with their very own kite. Entertainment will be provided by Kiss FM Radio, (93.1 FM).
The 2nd annual event is free and will feature face painting, kite flying, outdoor dining and live music.
Children will compete in a variety of kite flying contests for a chance to win a $50 prize deposited into a Youth Club Account with El Paso Employees Credit Union.
