THANKSGIVING ADOPT-A-SOLDIER PROGRAM STARTS NOV 2

FORT BLISS, Texas — Fort Bliss officials are pleased to inform the general public that the popular Adopt-A-Soldier program will begin taking requests/reservations on Wednesday, Nov. 2 through Nov. 20.

If you are interested in participating in the program and adopting a Soldier for the Thanksgiving Holiday please go to the Fort Bliss web site http://www.bliss.army.mil ; look for the bouncing Turkey and click it to make a reservation. Soldiers will also go to the same site and register themselves for adoption.

Military families of deployed personnel may also participate in the adoptions.

Adoptors can specify the amount of Soldiers and/or family size they would like to adopt.

If you don’t have a computer, you may request a Soldier by calling 915-744-8402/8498.
