Northeast Drop-off Site Gets New Customer Entrance

New Entrance Relocated to Stahala Drive

El Paso, Texas – There is a new customer entrance at the Citizen Collection Station (CCS) in Northeast El Paso, the City of El Paso Environmental Services Department announced today.

The CCS, at 4501 Hondo Pass Drive, is a drop-off site for the disposal of extra household trash, household hazardous waste, recyclables, electronics or bulky items, such as appliances and furniture.

The Environmental Services Department recently completed a project to install new fencing and a new entrance at the drop-off site. The new entrance is located on Stahala Drive near Hondo Pass. It provides customers with a more convenient access point to the drop-off site and should contribute to improved traffic flow in the area. The former entrance faced Hondo Pass.

There is no fee for using the CCS. However, visitors must bring a current El Paso Water Utilities bill and corresponding identification. The stations are open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The drop-site is not available to businesses.
