Freezing winter temperatures can sometimes mean busted pipes that frustrate homeowners, damage property, and waste thousands of gallons of water.
To help avoid that, El Paso Water Utilities will offer a free workshop called “Bundle or Bust” on Saturday, December 8, at 10:30am, at the Carlos M. Ramirez TecH2O Water Resources Learning Center at 10751 Montana Avenue.
The workshop will be led by Ken Futrell of Ewing Irrigation. Futrell will explain how to prepare outdoor pipes and irrigation systems for freezing temperatures. The event is free and open to the public, however registration is recommended. Those interested should visit TecH2O.org and click on “Events” to register for this and other upcoming events.
