Next No-Fee Days for Pedestrians Selected

November 13, 2009 – On August 18, 2009 the City Council approved an Ordinance allowing for up to Seven No-Fee Days for pedestrians at City operated bridges. In commemoration of the upcoming holiday season, please note the next scheduled No-Fee Days will be November 20th, December 11th and December 24th.

As part of this effort, all of the No-Fee Days are determined by the International Bridges Director in consultation with the Downtown Management District and are intended to promote and increase pedestrian crossings and bolster economic activity.

Highlights

No-Fee Days apply only to pedestrians crossing City operated bridges
Santa Fe Bridge (Paso Del Norte) Southbound
Stanton Bridge Southbound
Zaragoza Bridge Southbound
Current fee is $.50
September 14th was the first No-Fee Day selected under this effort
15,425 participated in comparison to 10,742 who crossed the same day in 2008
