Americas High Baseball game benefits breast cancer research

What: Breast Cancer Awareness Game
Who: Americas Trailblazer Baseball
Where: Americas High Baseball Field-12101 Pellicano Dr.
When: Tuesday, February 24- 6 pm

When the Americas High School baseball team takes the field on February 24, they will be debuting a new look for a good cause. The team will use their season opening game as “Breast Cancer Awareness Game.” Americas players and coaches with the help of sponsors will be using pink jerseys. The team will also sell pink t-shirts at the game. A portion of the proceeds will go to breast cancer research.

“We felt it was a good idea to go pink since the game coincides with the Race for the Cure on Feb. 22. This is a worthy cause and most of the team has been affected, in some form, by breast cancer,” said Jesse Munoz, Americas Head Baseball Coach.
