El Paso, TX, February 2009 — Sun City Comedy, a comedy business venture based out of El Paso, Texas is bringing to El Paso the first ever Air Guitar Tournament on Monday March 16th, at Cincinnati Bar, located in the Westside of El Paso, TX at 207 Cincinnati Street. The show starts at 9:30pm with registration beginning at 9:00pm. The show will be hosted by George. There will be a cash prize awarded to the winner of the competition in additional to a spot in the Finals in which a large cash prize will be awarded.
“These sort of competitions are being done in places like California and New York, El Paso is a big city and it just keeps growing, we are getting people from all over the U.S. due to Forth Bliss and it’s we start seeing diverse forms of comedy entertainment, not just standup.” Jose Saad, marketing director for Sun City Comedy, commented. “The Air Guitar Tournament is something that we can add a southwest flavor to, I am pretty sure that some air mariachi will pop up.” He added. Sun City Comedy, established in 2008, is based out of El Paso, Texas.
