The City of El Paso has declared an amnesty week effective February 23, 2009, through March 7, 2009, ending at 12:00 midnight on March 7, 2009. All fines can be paid at the Municipal Court locations (see attachment for locations and hours) and on-line at www.elpasotexas.gov.
The amnesty period will include the following:
Parking Citations
All violators who pay outstanding parking citations will have the total delinquency fines
and collection fees reduced to zero, leaving only the fine amount to be paid for each delinquent citation which is paid voluntarily.
Traffic tickets and City ordinance tickets that have gone to arrest warrant status
The $50 warrant fee will be waived by the El Paso Municipal Court Presiding Judge on each outstanding warrant.
