The El Paso Rose Garden, 1702 N. Copia will be opening on Sunday, March 1 after having been closed for the winter months since October 30, 2008.

The popular tourist attraction last year also hosted 30 weddings at the central El Paso location. The Garden, which opened in 1958, has many types of roses at the sprawling park area with a water fall, shade canopy and many other amenities.

The Rose Garden is a partnership as well between Texas AgriLife Extension Service Master Gardeners, El Paso Rose Society and the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department.

The park hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. For rental rates and availability for weddings, call (915) 541-4331.
